What nascar game can you drive pace laps under and drive into your pit on your own?

For PS2

I don’t think ANY of the PS2 versions let you control the car in either situation. I think NASCAR Heat on PC let you control caution laps cuz I used to have that game.

I could see controlling the caution lap driving happening, but I definitely don’t see controlling the pit driving happening, no matter how more realistic the experience would be. Its more likely to ruin the game experience for a lot of people who don’t know how NASCAR works or don’t watch the sport.
