Does a force feedback joystick give you the punch for your buck? If so what’s best?

I just bought Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and and I am really looking for a joystick. A force feedback one if possible. However, I also want to play non force feedback games with it. I have found that force feedback sticks cost a lot more than ones without. I don’t want to buy a force feedback stick and not enjoy it. So, can anybody help me?

i wouldn’t trade by Microsoft stick for anything. it’s digital and has force feedback and all the control switches are easy to use.
and you are correct on them being pricey, but you get what you pay for.
