Can anybody recommend a recent Sports Video game with a good career mode?

I’m looking for a modern sport’s video game with a great career mode. By good, I mean highly detailed, but not overly detailed, realistic, and enjoyable. Any suggestions?

The latest tiger woods pga tour. i think its 09. but it is hands down a completely awsome game. definitely recommend. Its has awsome career, great graphics, very good customization, and a good multiplayer. you can even customize your clubs.
